Posted by Amanda on 2/20/10
There are multiple hotels in Long Island that can meet the most basic needs. It is important to understand that you should find a hotel that does more than meet these needs. You should find a hotel that exceeds all of the basic expectations that you would have for a hotel. While it may be slightly more expensive, it can often be worth that extra cost.
Fortunately, there are a lot of hotels in Long Island that exceed these expectations. While there are multiple benefits to these hotels, there are four major benefits to staying in the more expensive hotels in Long Island.
Room Service
Room service is one of the major benefits of more expensive hotels. While you may be paying more for the food, you can easily order and eat the food in the comfort of your own room. This service is generally not found in cheaper hotel rooms.
Quality
Sometimes, when you pay more for a hotel, you pay for a more prime location. Other timers, you will pay more for the quality of the hotel. You will generally find a higher level of customer service when you choose a more expensive hotel.
Luxury Rooms
More expensive hotels will have nicer rooms for you to stay in. They will feature nicer televisions, nicer beds, and nicer room décor (often found in the bathroom). If you want to have a more luxurious, comforting stay, you are going to have to pay more for the hotel room.
Amenities
One of the biggest benefits of the more expensive hotel room comes from the extra amenities that come from staying in a hotel at the price. More expensive hotels may have nicer pools, workout rooms, and various other amenities. These hotels may feature a complimentary paper every day of your stay, and will often have a nicer complimentary breakfast. While this is not true for each hotel, it is true for the more expensive hotels.
At first, you may be tempted to look for the cheapest hotels available. If you want to make sure that you fully enjoy your hotel stay, you should look for the more expensive hotels in Long Island. While you will pay a little more, you will see the benefits of your extra spending during your stay.
